How does Sociants protect users’ information?

At Sociants it is our priority to protect the information of all users and beneficiaries of the platform. To these ends, we put in place protections on who has access to it and for which purposes.

Our platform complies with all state and federal regulations regarding the sharing of information, especially Protected Health Information (PHI). In addition, Sociants works to ensure to the extent possible that information provided by users is protected from unauthorized access, disclosure, use and modification.

Sociants protects such information by implementing:

  1. Policies and procedures applicable to Sociants officers, workforce and business associates who have access to PHI.
  2. Electronic protections to prevent, detect, contain and correct any breach of security, such as the use of encryption and access control bars (“firewall”).
  3. Physical protections and other administrative security measures.
