What information does an electronic referral include?

Electronic referrals are sent securely, ensuring the privacy of the participant's personally identifiable information. For this reason, the organization that receives the referral can see some general details of the referral, but until they accept it, they will not be able to see the name of the client.

A sent referral includes a direct link to the participant's record. To access their record, click View Case. In addition, from a sent or received referral you can exchange notes with the other program to monitor its status. To write a follow-up note, click View Notes.
